Holiday House in Drenje with Private Garden

This romantic natural stone house is nestled into the green landscape around the picturesque little coastal village of Drenje on the sunny Istrian peninsula. It is an ideal place for a holiday with ample privacy and long walks, cycle tours or simply relaxing on the varied beaches along the coast.Authentic natural stone house from the 17th century recently (2010) converted into a modern holiday house, surrounded by a private, charmingly planted garden with a grill area.

The living space of 80m² is spread over two floors and includes a living and dining space with an integrated open kitchen, two bedrooms, three bathrooms and a storage room with a washing machine. The living room on the ground floor provides a comfortable sofa, a TV and a dining table with four chairs. The large stone fireplace stove built into the wall enhances the rustic country house atmosphere and provides homely warmth on cooler evenings. The kitchen next to it is equipped with a hob, oven, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster and coffee machine. There is a convenient bathroom on the ground floor with a shower, a washbasin with a wall mirror, a hairdryer and a toilet. Wide, rustic, wooden stairs lead to the upper floor with the two bedrooms and the two further bathrooms. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed (200 x 200cm), the second with four single beds (90 x 200cm), and this room also benefits from a wall-mounted flatscreen TV. The two bathrooms are fitted the same as the one on the ground floor. Plenty of bed linen and towels are provided and the reliable wireless Internet connection can be used free of charge.

A private garden awaits you outside with a table and chairs, sun loungers and many shaded little spots for relaxing outdoors. You can enjoy leisurely holiday meals around the grill area. A car is recommended during your stay and you can use the secure parking spaces right in front of the house.

You can hire bicycles or surf boards from the owner. If you do not wish to go on holiday without your pet then it is also welcome.

It is less than 500 metres to the nearest beach with crystal clear water. There is a beach 3km away with a diving and a surf centre. It is about 1.5km to the centre of Drenje with shops, colourful markets and a good range of café and restaurants.

    “Einfache, aber ausreichende Ausstattung. Mit Liebe naturnah gestaltet. Sehr schön ist die offene Feuerstelle, auf der die sehr netten Gastgeber uns ein Mahl aus wildem Spargel zubereitet haben.
    Die Betten fanden wir bequem. Die Treppe in die beiden Obergeschosse ist steil und eng aber unsere Kinder (2 und 4) haben sie nach ein paar Tagen gut gemeistert.
    Komfortabel sind die 3 (!) Bäder (keine Wanne). Das Wasser wird schnell warm.
    Die Lage hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Keinerlei Verkehrslärm oder vergleichbares, dafür die Geräusche aus dem nahe gelegenen Wald.
    Das Sofa könnte bequemer sein. Wer im Urlaub viel fernsehen will, kommt nicht auf seine Kosten. Die Internetverbindung (WLAN) ist ok.
    Es gibt zwei bis drei Katzen, die im Haus ein- und ausgehen.
    10 Min zu Fuß zum total abgelegenen Lagunenstrand. Leider wurde hier recht viel Pastikmüll angeschwemmt, den wir erstmal weggeräumt haben, damit wir es schöner haben.”

    “Das Haus ist noch schöner, als auf den Bildern. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Alle Räume sind liebevoll mit typischen Details ausgestattet, die eine wundervolle Atmosphäre zaubern. Sehr schön ist auch der Grillplatz im Garten. Vom Vermieter gibt es Holz dafür, soviel man braucht. Überhaupt ist der Garten und die Aussicht einfach toll. Wir haben uns noch nie in einem Urlaubsquartier so wohl gefühlt! Die Wege zum Meer sind leider etwas beschwerlich, aber im nächsten Ort kann man mit dem Auto bis ans Meer fahren. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.”

    “Das Haus ist wie im Internet beschrieben.
    Für Familien mit kleineren Kindern nur bedingt geeignet, da eine steile,enge Treppe ins Obergeschoss führt.
    Das Haus war sehr sauber.Wer hier Ruhe sucht wird sie finden.
    Vermieter sehr freundlich.”

    “Das Haus war genau wie es auf der Internetseite beschrieben war. Ausstattung, Lage, Zustand, Sauberkeit und Preiswürdigkeit. Hier gab es nirgends etwas zu bemängeln. Die Lage war super, ruhig und ein top Ausblick aufs Meer. Es war genau dass was wir gesucht hatten, um vom Alltag abzuschalten. Die Vermieter waren super nett und zuvorkommend.”
