Charming holiday apartment in terraced house in the old hamlet of Garlenda (in the province of Savona), 8 km from the lively seaside resort of Alassio on the Ligurian Riviera. The apartment is spread over two floors. An elegant staircase leads to the first floor with an open-plan bedroom/passageway to the large bathroom and the double bedroom with walk-in wardrobe. Equipped terrace and enclosed garden with outdoor kitchen and barbecue for al fresco dining overlooking the sea. 1 km golf course. The wide sandy beaches of Alassio (11 km) and Albenga (13 km) are within easy reach. Ideal starting point for exploring the area: 12 km the characteristic coastal town of Albenga with its well-preserved historic centre of Roman origin (180 years BC), early Christian baptistery and medieval towers; 22 km Cervo known for its international classical music festival; 31 km Borgio Varezzi of Saracen origin with natural amphitheatre (theatre performances in summer), one of the most beautiful places in Italy. For sports enthusiasts: 1 km of hiking and mountain bike trails, between Albenga and Alassio the ancient Roman road Julia Augusta, between Sanremo (71 km) and San Lorenzo al Mare (46 km) there is the longest coastal cycle path in Europe (24 km). For art lovers: 85 km Genoa with its magnificent palaces of the Rolli, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Changing table and baby bottle available. From the car park to the house: 200 m paved path uphill. 4 km motorway.

    “Das Haus bildet mit anderen zusammen ein kleines Bergdorf. Es liegt sehr ruhig und hat einen wunderschönen, weiten Blick in ein Toskana-artiges Tal. Drumherum ist viel Natur, ein Auto ist absolut erforderlich, für Einkäufe, Restaurantbesuche, Strandfahrten etc. Das Haus ist mit Geschmack gut und hochwertig eingerichtet und bietet auf zwei Ebenen angenehm Platz für vier Personen (zwar gibt es sechs Schlafplätze und zwei Bäder, für Maximalbelegung wäre es jedoch etwas klein, zumal die oberen beiden Schlafzimmer direkt offen aneinander grenzen). Das obere Bad ist traumhaft, mit freistehender Wanne. Besonderes Highlight ist die Kochgelegenheit mitsamt Gasgrill draußen auf der Terrasse. Die Küche hat zwar bis auf einen Toaster alle Geräte, verbesserungsfähig ist aber die Ausstattung (z.B. Weingläser, Rührschüssel, Mixer, Schneidebretter, scharfe Messer). Die technischen Geräte inkl. Waschmaschine funktionieren einwandfrei, allerdings ist die Stromsicherung des Hauses zu schwach ausgelegt. Insgesamt ein empfehlenswertes Haus mit kleinen Einschränkungen (viereinhalb Häuschen), wir würden es gern wieder mieten.”
