Extensively renovated holiday apartment
The holiday apartment was extensively renovated in 2021/2022 and lovingly furnished for nature lovers. It is located in a quiet residential area, 1.2 km from the town center. From here, cycling and hiking tours can be started.
The apartment has its own entrance, ensuring privacy. Outdoor clothing and hiking shoes can be taken off and hung up right in the entrance area. A small seating area by the street invites you to linger outdoors. A privacy fence is planned. A parking space is available for the car, and there is the possibility to store bicycles brought along.

23 circular hiking trails are offered by the hiking paradise South Heide. Each circular hiking trail has 3 different lengths. With the hiking brochure available for free use in the holiday apartment, you can select the right tour the evening before. More information and pictures for each path can be found on the website of the Lüneburger Heide. If you prefer to travel by bike, you can explore the region on the themed cycling tours. The heath towns of Celle and Lüneburg can be reached within an hour. Further excursion possibilities and events can be found on the website of the Lüneburger Heide. The Lüneburger Heide also boasts the highest density of amusement parks in Germany. The Müden Wildlife Park is one of them and a gem in the area. Native animals, regular barbecue evenings, feeding times, and the daily flight show enhance the park, and a visit should be planned. The Airlift Museum in Faßberg provides information about the Berlin Airlift. Much knowledge is vividly presented in several Nissen huts, wagons, and a candy bomber. Regular public tours also take place here. Those who enjoy swimming can do laps in the nearby Herrenbrücke swimming pool during the summer months.

In the municipality of Faßberg, there are several restaurants offering different options. All possibilities are listed in the local brochure. During the day, various snack trucks are available multiple times a week in front of Tante Hanna, our Rewe convenience store, for a quick bite. Farm shops and regional vending machines enhance the offer of regional products. Tante Hanna is a lovely little shop that leaves no wishes unfulfilled and also offers delicacies from the region. The long table in the market invites you to linger.

Starting from 01.07.2024, the municipality of Faßberg will additionally charge a cultural and tourism fee of €1.50 per person per night.
