Explore the majestic Vosges mountains and linger in the midst of magnificent pine forests. You don't have to hike far to reach the famous Tendon waterfalls and the nearest ski slopes. You can also visit the famous village of Gérardmer, known for its ski resort and its lake, which offers a beach and paths around its wooded banks. A path leads up the hill to the Merelle Observatory, which offers a panoramic view of the lake and the town. To the south is the Col de Grosse Pierre, a popular mountain pass for cyclists.
