Quietly but conveniently situated farmhouse with a garden, on a Tuscan country estate near Lucca

The Tuscan farmhouse belongs to a country estate in Altopascio and is about 14km from Lucca. It is quietly situated and easy to get to.

Part of the garden is private and reserved for holiday house guests. You can make yourselves comfortable there on the garden furniture, or grill and dine. There is a big parking space available, with space to turn. Right next to the farmhouse there is the manor house, where the owner lives. Olives and wine grapes are cultivated on the 9000m² country estate, amongst which there are also lawns inviting you to sunbathe, as well as a little children’s playground. The site is completely fenced and is accessed along a private road.

The carefully renovated holiday house comprises two floors. The ground floor with around 100m² of living space has a bedroom with a double bed or two single beds. There is also a living room with a sofa, armchairs and a digital TV (satellite), as well as a fully-equipped dining room for up to eight people. Next to it there is a kitchen equipped with all the necessary tableware and cookware. It has a gas stove and oven, fridge, dishwasher, toaster and coffee machine (Illy), as well as table cloths and cleaning utensils. The washing machine is in a little storage room, which also has an iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. Right next to the entrance there is a bathroom with a WC, bidet, washbasin and shower. Stairs lead upstairs with three bedrooms. The first bedroom has a double bed with a canopy, a cupboard and bedside tables. Next to it there is the second bedroom with a double bed and a wardrobe, as well as a bathroom belonging to both bedrooms. It has a WC, bidet, washbasin, shower and hairdryer. The third bedroom, also with a double bed and cupboard, has its own bathroom with the same fittings. All the double beds measure 180 x 200cm and can be replaced with single beds on request (100 x 190cm). Supplementary beds are available for children, at no extra charge. The house has central heating and the bedrooms also have air conditioning. Free wireless Internet access is available.

This is just the right place for those who would like to spend a relaxing holiday amidst peaceful nature, without sacrificing comfort. It is possible to hire bicycles and to take part in guided cycle tours. The owner is happy to assist with any special requirements. Within less than a kilometre there are several grocery shops. It is a ten-minute walk to the village, or just five minutes to the train station, which has convenient train connections to beautiful towns such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Montecatini Terme, as well as to Viareggio.
