    “Der Ort Choudetsio hat ca. 1000 Einwohner. Er liegt 2-3km von der Villa entfernt und hat eine kleine, aber feine Bäckerei. Im Ort gibt es 2 Tavernen. Dort kann mal gut und vor allen Dingen günstig essen. Der Supermarkt ist klein und bietet nur die nötigsten Sachen an. Einen großen Supermarkt gibt es in der ca. 12 km entfernten Stadt Achanes, wo man auch gut Essen kann. Sowohl in Choudetsio als auch in Achanes bekommt man einen echten Eindruck, wie die Leute auf der Insel leben und ihr Tagesablauf aussieht. Die Villa liegt ideal für Tagesausflüge. Etwa 20 km mit dem PKW von der Hauptstadt Irakleo entfernt, ca. 1 Stunde zur Südküste und auch +/- 1 Stunde bis zur tollen Stadt Rethimno.”
